HOW POINTS ARE AWARDED
All drivers get 100 "show up" points upon pill draw
Qualifying (Per Group): 15, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 5, 5
Heat Races: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5
B-Main (Non-Transfers): 45, 42, 40, 38, 36, 34, 32, 30, 30, 30, 30, ......30
A-Main: 125, 120, 115, 110, 105, 100, 96, 92, 88, 84, 80, 77, 74, 71, 68, 65, 63, 61, 59, 57, 55, 53, 51, 50 .....50
To get points for each event, the driver and car must make an appearance on the race surface and get a "push-off" to be considered attempting to start the event
The championship contenders will get one [1] "drop" during the season. Beginning July 1, point standings will reflect the drop with the amount the drivers is dropping in parenthesis.
In the event of a bad night in the second half of the season, that "drop" number will be substituted in place of a new drop.
Qualifying has more weight in the point system than heat races because the heats are inverted by 4.
